Whitehead breaks 1:30 barrier on debut
Essex based Adam Whitehead ran brilliantly today to conquer the 1hr 30min barrier at the Brentwood Half Marathon, UK. Adam who joined STRYDZ RC in February dedicated 4 times per week to train and included cycling as part of the routine to protect his knees that had been operated on from old football injuries. Adam crossed the line in 1hr 27.47 to finished 92nd and now is eager to put in more work for an upcoming 10km at the end of June and even a big city half marathon later in the year.
Noura wins 3rd place at Khorfakkan
Emirati athlete Noura, ran a well earned 3rd place at the Labbaik Khorfakkan Run 2024. It was a late 10pm start time in the picturesque coastal resort of Khorfakkan and with generous prizes, this proved to be a popular race following on from the NAS race a week before. Noura who represents Team Bin Kharbash has 1 more race in Hatta next week before she evaluates this year and plans for another successful season next year.
